.NET Web Developer
Onward has an immediate need
for a talented and creative .NET Developer to join our
software development team in the Loop. We are responsible
for developing enterprise level Intranet and Internet
web applications. You must have experience in the full
development lifecycle of n-tier Microsoft applications.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to multiple
projects for several different clients in an environment
where your work will have high visibility.
Skills & Requirements:
- Solid professional / enterprise
level development experience
- Proven experience developing web
applications in a Microsoft environment
- Significant experience developing
software solutions in ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET, XML
Web services
- Experience with SQL stored procedure
development
- High level experience with client
side programming (HTML, JavaScript)
- Candidates should have experience
with and be comfortable working in middle and backend
tiers of development
- Requires a college degree in computer
science or similar
- Team player with enterprise application
experience
- Proactive communicator and self-starter
- Strong coding and problem-solving
skills
- Demonstrated ability to work
both independently and in small team environments
- Strong dedication to maintaining
high customer service and quality control levels
while meeting project deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to handle
multiple projects simultaneously while effectively
managing schedule and communicating progress
- Ability to conceptualize and
implement innovative solutions to business problems

Management Analysts / Technical Leads
Onward Technologies is seeking
Hummingbird DM™/OpenText document management analysts
/ technical leads to support our growing client roster.
Individuals in this role are responsible for administering
technical database support, troubleshooting back-end
server and Microsoft® SQL Server issues for the
document management system, defining and refining existing
design and implementation methodologies to enhance Hummingbird’s
integration with clients’ other applications and
effectively using SQL scripting tools.
Individuals in this
role interact with our clients, application architects
and software developers; they must have outstanding
people and communication skills. They must be capable
of proactively communicating and managing the timely
resolution of issues. Qualified candidates will have
a bachelor’s degree in information systems or
an equivalent specialty and at least four years of
experience supporting and building Hummingbird PC
DOCS or DM5 document management systems. Must be comfortable
with SQL Server administration, Microsoft® Windows®
2000 and 2003 server installation, and SQL scripting.
Experience with HP servers and support tools, Active
Directory, programming languages, project management,
presentation and documentation development, and working
in the legal services industry desired.
