General Consulting

Design and Implementation Services

DM Audits

We have significant experience with auditing your document management system to provide you with varied reports based on validation data usage, SQL server performance, database consistency, and other key factors that measure the health of your DM system. This report will often permit you to address any underlying trends or weaknesses before they become serious issues for your system's viability or performance.

Onward is fortunate to employ a number of highly trained SQL DBAs, who can assist your staff with any sort of database troubleshooting or support. From performance issues to custom database configuration, data transformation services and custom reporting, we are available to help you optimize and maintain your SQL database applications in optimal condition.
Training and Support


  • 2nd or 3rd level DM Administrative support – we can become support to your support or help desk team. Fostering a relationship with Onward support personnel affords your teams a very personal partnership for your DM support needs – our team provides unlimited support in a way that makes us an extension of your team, allowing you to not only open specific support cases, but maintain a running dialog of questions, ideas, and general knowledge transfer to help your staff become even better trained along the way.

  • Fully-Authorized Hummingbird Support – You can purchase your annual support from Onward in place of the Bronze Support routinely offered by Hummingbird as part of your annual software maintenance renewal. Partnering with Onward relieves you of the need to count incidents or re-educate support technicians about your environment everytime you place a call. We get to know your staff and can respond more quickly due to our ongoing relationship.

  • Emergency Support – We offer after-hours emergency support for an incident-based fee, again allowing you to contact support resources who are already familiar with your environment, allowing you to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.

  • DM Administrator Training – We offer full training for our DM Admins and Help Desk personnel. Our very experienced staff can quickly provide your staff with the tools and knowledge necessary to properly maintain, troubleshoot and monitor your DM system.

  • DM Administrator Outsourcing or Temporary Placement – Call on us if your DM Admin needs a vacation, medical leave, or other temporary absence from your organization. Some small to medium sized organizations have even found that it is not cost-effective to employ a full-time DM Administrator on staff, but still need to provide for routine maintenance, support, and troubleshooting of the DM environment. We are uniquely able to provide these services for you at a very cost-effective rate. Our team of DM Administrators can support any number of environments, alleviating the cost and headache of keeping a trained DM administrator on staff.

  • End-User or New Employee Training and Support – We can provide support for your end-users, not only for the DM environment, but for other standard office applications as well. Help desk personnel are hard to find and hard to keep up to date on current technologies. Partnering with us allows you to take advantage of our staff of friendly and knowledgeable experts in a variety of applications and processes.
